Best American Restaurant in Detroit

Came here for breakfast every morning as my hotel around the corner was far too expensive, $9 got you a big bacon & egg sandwich with coffee. Old school cafe

I used to go here all the time as a kid with my dad, so I decided to take my kids to share this experience with my own daughters. It was so nostalgic. It didn't disappoint. My girls love the huge pancakes and my oldest enjoyed her omelet. Plus, I enjoyed my breakfast with the best side of thick juicy ham this is served in the city of Detroit. Period. Excellent experience

Hot and fast. Love it. Had egg sandwich. Should have eaten 1/2 and boxed rest for my break at work. I couldn't. It was so good. Ate the whole thing. Also coffee. Best $8 I will ever spend.

This breakfast spot was so good, I ate there 3 days in a row! I had the corned beef hash each time and it was perfectly prepared. I like sunny side up eggs, and that can be tough to get right but each time they were perfect. The hash browns were excellent and very tasty. Great coffee. The servers were really outstanding. My coffee refills were right when needed. Fast service, great food, great prices, awesome staff, this place is spectacular! I loved it!
